How it all began
Perth Property Partners was founded in 2007 on a simple belief: real estate is, and always will be, a people business. That conviction shapes the way the agency works, from the first phone call with a new client to the handover of keys at settlement. It is not a slogan. It is the reason the business exists.
The agency started small. Rob Walker built his practice on a straightforward commitment: listen carefully, advise honestly and negotiate hard. With a Bachelor of Education (Hons.) and a Diploma of Professional and Corporate Coaching, Rob brought a different kind of discipline to property. His early years as a buyer's agent, negotiating hundreds of contracts from the other side of the table, gave him an understanding of the full transaction that most selling agents never develop. The business grew through clients referring people they cared about to someone they trusted, not through advertising.
Close to two decades on, that approach has not changed. The recognition has followed, with results acknowledged across REIWA, REB and REA. But the reason clients come back, and keep sending their friends and family, is simpler: they felt looked after from the first meeting to the final handshake.
The next chapter
For close to two decades, Rob built Perth Property Partners one relationship at a time. Today he works alongside his sons, Riley and Tom, who grew up around the business and now lead campaigns of their own.
It is a deliberate handover, not a sudden one. The standards Rob set, to listen carefully, advise honestly and negotiate hard, are the same ones Riley and Tom carry forward, paired with a modern approach to marketing and a real stake in the result. Clients who have worked with Rob for years are meeting the people who will look after them for the next twenty.
